Fragrance Oils
Fragrance Oils
Fragrance oils, commonly referred to as aroma oils, aromatic oils, or aroma chemicals, are blended synthetic aroma compounds or natural essential oils that are diluted to create desired scents.

-
Essential Oils
Natural and contain the true aromatic essence and other naturally beneficial properties of the plant the essential oil was distilled from.

-
Synthetic Fragrance Oil
Petroleum-based aromas containing a blend of artificial substances and essential oils. These come in powder or liquid form and are used to create scents that are not available through natural methods from essential oils - For example: "Autumn Leaves" or "Fresh Rain"

-
Natural Fragrance Oil
Natural aromas containing a blend of essential oils and plant and fruit extracts. Unlike synthetic fragrance oils, natural fragrance oils are made using only natural ingredients.

Solvents & Diluents
If a synthetic fragrance comes in powder form, a solvent is required to convert it to a liquid; If an essential oil or fragrance oil is too concentrated, a diluent is used to lower the intensity of the oil.
